Raw Tapes Episode 11: Static II Barcelona

This new episode of the Raw Tapes series comes from a collection of 4 mini DV tapes from the summer of 2003 in Barcelona. This was one of the hottest summers of my life, and that's saying a lot coming from a Floridian. You can plainly see in every clip that everyone's shirts are soaked through within just a few tries at every spot. Sleeping on the tile floor of Kenny Reed's Barcelona apartment for a month, it was on this trip that Paul Shier got the most work done for his Static II part. And this was during the early days of American's starting to flock to the soon-to-be skate mecca. So this episode features a lot of the first skate pilgrims, all good friends of Kenny's and Shier's including Justin Strubing, Tony Cox, Satva Leung, Jerry Hsu and Nick Jensen.
