We celebrated the 2022 holiday season with two of the best underground videos of the year:
- Jeff Cecere’s Mind How You Go is a Brooklyn-heavy vid with amazing parts from everyone involved, not least Johnny Cumaoglu and Nate Grzechowiak, plus a surprise Bronze section.
- Jacob Palumbo’s Carousel is a slice of the Washington, DC scene outside Pulaski. If you need any encouragement to give this one a watch, I have two words for you: Jason Nam.
A week afterwards, we rang in a Happy Lou Year with the one and only Lurker Lou.
It’s warm in New York City right now, but you know that’ll change any day. Tune into the Buggica Raw Tapes and dream of those sticky Tampa nights this winter. The first episode focuses on Hopps pro Dustin Eggeling.
We shared Pablo Alvarado’s part a few weeks ago, now Michael Breitmaier’s memoir is live in full. A new video from Rochester means new Japhey Dow footage.
Asheville’s Eric Hunt and Kerry Webb brought us “Observers,” a collaboration between Push Skateshop, Theories Brand, and Brainstorm Skateboards.
Digby Luxton and Riley Pavey don the Pleather Jacket.
Finally, get ready for Paul Young’s Down By Law, likely one of the best underground videos of 2023.
