Quim Cardona's Full Static IV Part
In an effort to maintain some sanctity of the dvd hard copy of a full length video, we have been rather reserved and protective over letting any parts from the Static IV and V videos leak out on Youtube. With some collaboration efforts we allowed a couple of sections to get loose here or there, but overall the vast majority of the video has been lucky enough to remain off the filthy internet for nearly 2 years now. But in order to introduce Static to some of those dvd-challenged folks out in the world, we decided to bring some light to a few parts over the next month or so. And we figured why not start with one of the anchors of style for the whole project, east coast legend Quim Cardona.
Quim's part starts off with a rare and gritty track he recorded on his little karoake machine back when he was 18 years old in New Jersey. It perfectly captures the rugged texture of east coast skateboarding that Quim and others helped to create in the 90's. It's incredible that Quim is still creating and producing stylish, flowing footage in 2016 and we're super excited to see his next full part soon to premiere in the "Spirit Quest" video by Colin Read next month.
Thank you to Quim for being a part of the Static legacy and blessing us with one of our favorite parts to grace the long running series. Enjoy!
